Worship is at the heart of the community that is Friendswood United Methodist Church. It is an exciting time where people engage in genuine relationships and experience meaningful messages that can be applied to daily life. Worship is the lifeblood of faith and we encourage everyone to attend each of our worship services to discover which leads them closer to God.
8:30 & 11:05 AM Traditional
Our traditional services offers a formal order of worship as well as a variety of classical and contemporary music prepared by our Music Ministry.
Our contemporary worship hour is an upbeat praise and worship service for who are looking for a more relaxed and informal style of worship. Filled with current praise and worship music led by our Celebrate Praise Team, you can lift your voice joyfully to God.
In all services, the messages are always relevant to life in our hectic world, while staying rooted in scripture. Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month.
2:00 PM in Wesley Hall
Just as buildings are designed to be more welcoming to those with physical disabilities, Joyful Hearts has been adapted to be more welcoming to those with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Worship features lots of music, joyous singing, playing of rhythm instruments and a brief and meaningful message. Everyone is invited to join us as we gather to Praise the Lord!
