We are very excited to invite you to join MOPS & MOMSNext at Friendswood Methodist beginning in the fall! We are a Christian community of moms from all walks of life who laugh together, support each other and love each other like family! All moms with kids from pregnancy to high school aged and everything in between are welcome!

We meet two Wednesdays a month, September through May, in a morning or evening group at Friendswood Methodist Church. For moms, each meeting begins with snacks and an opportunity to visit. Then we hear from a speaker on a relevant topic with practical application, followed by discussion with the ladies at our table. Several times a year we have a craft or another special activity during our regular meeting time. Childcare is available in the MOPS Kids program for ages 6 months through 7 years if needed.  In between meetings we organize family outings, moms’ nights out, and other community events. Most of all, MOPS & MOMSNext at Friendswood Methodist is fun!

This year we're going to HAVE MORE FUN, FEAR LESS and FIND OUR PEOPLE!

To find out more about the local program or to receive registration information once it becomes available, let us know here. Registration opens May 6 for Friendswood Methodist Church members & May 20 to the public. Questions? Email us at FriendswoodUMCmops@gmail.com.

The vision of United Methodist Women is turning faith, hope and love into action on behalf of women, children, and youth both locally and around the world. We provide opportunities and resources for our members to grow spiritually and become more deeply rooted in Christ, putting faith into action. We meet monthly and have speakers from organizations who are actively pursuing these goals. We actively participate in and support some of these organizations. All women of the church are welcome.

To join one of these groups, OR to talk about how to start a NEW group email Janis Finch or call the Adult Discipleship Office at 281-482-7535 x 121.
