Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one lay caring ministry. Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers - called Stephen Ministers - to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
Friendswood Methodist is one of 1300 congregations internationally who are dedicated to confidentially serving members who are struggling through a difficult time in life - experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or some other life crisis. Friendswood Methodist maintains a team of congregation members who are trained as both Stephen leaders and Stephen Ministers.
