Entering 1st through 4th grade students are invited to discover their gifts and talents as they LIVE Big, LOVE Big, and SERVE Big at Friendswood Methodist’s third annual One Big Camp. One Big Camp provides children with engaging ways to pursue their interests, learn new skill sets and try unique crafts in an environment that enables them to use their talents to share God’s love with others.
Campers will have the opportunity to participate in one Focus class and several Rotation classes over the course of camp. Classes may include anything from woodworking, cake decorating, active games to art or cooking and more. Please see the registration page for a full list of classes offered. Campers will also have an opportunity to get up and move during the daily mission challenge.
Most importantly, through their interactive learning of new skill sets, children will learn that God has given them the power to use their gifts to share His love.
We hope you will consider joining us for this highly engaging and transformative week! The registration fee for One Big Camp is $95 per camper and includes a camp T-shirt. Questions? Call 281-482-7535 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are still in need of volunteers! A volunteer receives a $30.00 discount for each child. If you or someone you know of would like to volunteer click this link for B1G Camp Adult Volunteer. You will need to register in the correct camp for your child. Remember it is for the Grade they are entering in fall of 2019!
Information for each Focus class is listed on their camp form.

Serving Our Savior (SOS) CAMP
July 22-25 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
SOS Camp is intentionally designed to allow 5th and 6th graders to serve in the community in various ways. We are very excited to have the opportunity to take 30 campers off campus to Mercy Tree - to prepare a meal and serve the homeless, Assisted Living Homes – to help residents make ‘tie’ blankets for preemies and Car Wash - to raise funds for Builders without Borders. We will also have the fun with water games and slides on the last day. Our campers will discover their gifts/talents as they become the hands and feet of Christ.
Because of the design of this camp the space is limited to regular attendees of Friendswood Methodist and the children of Adult volunteers of B1G Camp or SOS Camp. REGISTER HERE.
Serving Our Savior,
Robyn Moore – Director of Arrows 56
Ellaine LaBorde – Co-leader of SOS Camp
