Pastor’s Bible Study - Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians
Thu, November 29, 2018
Imprisoned for his faith, the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus. He had spent over three years ministering there. He had lived there, preached there, been persecuted there, bled there, and nearly died there. Yet, as we learn in The Letter to the Ephesians, Paul’s confidence did not waver, his faith and vision never faltered: God had acted decisively in Christ to unify people and establish the church assembly, the people of God set apart and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Beginning in January, Rev. Bass will lead a 13-week Seedbed study by Dr. Fred Long from Asbury Theological Seminary. Two classes are offered for the study: Tuesday evening, beginning January 22nd from 6:30-8:00 pm, and Wednesday morning, beginning January 23rd from 10:00-11:30 am. We will work through Paul’s grand vision of the Church as Christ’s body, a people called to be holy and blameless in love.
Registration starts December 2nd and go through January 9th. The cost of the study guide will be $15 to be paid on the first day of class.
You can register online. For the MORNING sessions, register HERE. For the EVENING sessions, register HERE.
