As a member of Friendswood Methodist Church, you have access to our digital church directory. This database is managed through the ShelbyNext system and is a great tool for connecting with your church family as well as tracking your giving and checking in on Sunday mornings!

HOW TO LOGIN TO YOUR FRIENDSWOOD METHODIST SHELBYNEXT ACCOUNT

To obtain your Username and Password, visit friendswoodmethodist.shelbynextchms.com (or click HERE)
Click "Forgot Password" and then type in your email address as prompted.
An updated password will automatically be sent to you by the ShelbyNext system.
Follow the instructions in your password reset email (and use the provided Username in that email to login).

If there is an error finding the email address associated with your ShelbyNext account, contact the church office to update your information at 281-482-7535 or info@friendswoodmethodist.org.

ShelbyNext also has an app and options to check in on Sunday mornings. If you'd like to utilize those features, click below for more detailed instructions.

How do I update my profile?

From a desktop computer: Once you're logged in to the ShelbyNext system, click your initials in the top right of the screen and select "View Profile". Click the pencil in the top right corner. Update your information and click "Save" at the bottom left of the screen. Your edits will be approved by the office.

From a mobile device on the app: Tap on the silhouette symbol in the middle of the screen. Tap on "Propose Edit" on the bottom left of the screen. Make your desired changes and tap on "Propose" at the top right.

Can I add a picture to my profile?

Yes! And adding a picture is encouraged! Your image needs to be a JPG, JPEG or PNG file type of 5MB or less. Please be sure that your face can be seen in the picture and that it is only an image of yourself (not a group picture).

How do I find a fellow church member's information?

On your desktop computer: Begin typing in the search bar at the top of the screen or select "Individuals" on the left side of the screen and begin typing in the name of the person you're looking for.

On your mobile device in the app: Tap on "People" from the main menu screen. Tap in the "Search" bar at the top of the screen. Begin typing the name of the person you're looking for.

Can I use the mobile app for online giving?

Yes! Tap on the "Give" icon on the bottom right of the main menu from the ShelbyNext Membership app on your mobile device. You can specify the amount, method of payment, a one-time or recurring gift and which fund you're donating to.

Can I use the mobile app to check in my kids on Sunday morning?

Yes! You can use the ShelbyNext Membership application within .5 miles of the church to check in your children on Sunday mornings. Once checked in, the system will automatically print name tags for them at the location you choose.

Select "Check-In" from the bottom of the main menu screen in the app. Tap on the child you're checking in and choose the group with whom they're checking in. Choose your check-in station and then tap the "Check In" button at the bottom of the screen.
