HELP THE CHURCH IN CUBA

Our brothers and sisters in the Independent Methodist Church of Cuba faithfully share the hope of Jesus Christ while serving their communities through incredible hardship. Despite ongoing shortages of food, electricity, and essential resources, these churches continue to preach the Gospel, care for their neighbors, and minister with unwavering faith. As fellow members of the global Methodist family, we have the privilege of standing alongside them in both prayer and practical support.

 

There are several meaningful ways you can make a difference. Every gift, whether large or small, helps strengthen the ministry of the Independent Methodist Church of Cuba and provides hope to pastors, churches, and families in need. Together, we can be the hands and feet of Christ by supporting the Church in Cuba in the following ways:

SUPPORT A CUBAN PASTOR

A Cuban pastor earns approximately $5 per month, making it difficult to provide for their family while serving their congregation. A gift of $100 per month helps provide financial stability so pastors can focus on sharing the Gospel and caring for their communities. One-time gifts, annual commitments, and ongoing monthly support are all available.

PROVIDE A SOLAR GENERATOR

Frequent power outages can leave churches and homes without electricity for days. A $1,500 solar generator provides reliable power for a church and pastor's home, allowing worship services to continue and offering neighbors a place to charge phones and essential medical equipment.

FIGHT HUNGER IN CUBA

Over the next several weeks, we're inviting our church family to participate in a special collection drive to provide much needed food and essential supplies for our brothers and sisters in Cuba.  These donations will be distributed by the churches of the Independent Methodist Church in Cuba to families and communities in need. As they meet practical needs, they also open doors to share the hope of Jesus Christ and the Gospel with those they serve. Every item you give becomes a powerful tool for ministry and an opportunity to demonstrate Christ's love in a tangible way.

As you shop, simply add a few extra items to your cart and bring them back to the church. Donations can be dropped off at the church office during the week or placed in the designated collection bins by the Missions Wall on Sunday mornings.

Your donations can only make a difference once they arrive in Cuba. Shipping costs average $2 per pound, and financial gifts toward freight help ensure food, supplies, and equipment reach the churches and communities that need them most.
