Bibles for Vets – Honoring Those Who Served
At FMC, we are deeply grateful for the men and women who have served our country—both in times of peace and in times of war. We recognize the lasting impact of their service and the sacrifices they and their families have made.
This year, we want to show our appreciation in two special ways:
- 📋 Recognizing Our Veterans: We are gathering the names of veterans within our congregation so we can personally thank and honor you. If you are a veteran, or if you know someone in our church family who is, please let us know on May 18 or May 25 at church.
- 📖 Donating Bibles to the Houston VA Hospital: We are once again partnering with the Houston VA to bless their patients with large-print Bibles. Last year, thanks to your generosity, we were able to donate over 250 Bibles—and we’re praying to do even more this year!
On May 18 and 25, we will be accepting donations in person in the Church Foyer. You can also give online by clicking the donate button below and selecting “Bibles for Vets” from the dropdown menu.
Your generosity will help bring comfort, hope, and the Word of God to veterans in need. Thank you for being part of this meaningful mission!
