Formed by Grace
Formed by Grace is a sermon series exploring how God shapes us into the likeness of Christ through the Wesleyan Means of Grace. These practices are not ways to earn God’s favor, but intentional ways we open our lives to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
We invite you to watch, reflect, and journey with us as we learn what it means to live as people truly formed by grace!
Rooted in the Wesleyan tradition, the Means of Grace are the ordinary, faithful practices God uses to form our hearts, strengthen our faith, and guide us in loving God and neighbor. As we return to these rhythms, we discover how God’s grace meets us in everyday life and sends us into the world renewed and transformed.
In this series, we explore:
Scripture — hearing and responding to God’s Word
Prayer — growing in daily conversation and dependence on God
Worship — gathering to praise God and be shaped as Christ’s body
The Sacraments — experiencing God’s grace through Holy Communion and Baptism
Christian Community — growing together through fellowship and accountability
Acts of Mercy — serving others through compassion, justice, and love
Through these messages, we are invited to embrace faithful, everyday practices through which God’s grace:
Forms our character
Deepens our love for God and neighbor
Strengthens our witness in the world
