Pursuit:  A Men's Prayer & Fasting Journey
A Time for Prayer, Focus, and Seeking God Together

October 15-18 | Thursday–Sunday

"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." — James 4:8

Men of the church are invited to join us for a special time of fasting, prayer, and fellowship. Whether you choose to fast for one day, two days, or the full four days, this event is an opportunity to intentionally seek God and grow spiritually alongside other men.

As you participate, we encourage you to identify a specific prayer focus—something you are bringing before God during this season. It may be a personal challenge, a family concern, a spiritual breakthrough, discernment for a decision, or simply a desire to grow closer to Him.

HOW IT WORKS

✅ Choose how many days you will fast (up to 4 days)

✅ Commit to a specific prayer focus

✅ Join the nightly gatherings for encouragement and prayer

✅ Support and be supported by other men pursuing God together

NIGHTLY GATHERINGS

Location: FLC Gym

Each evening during the fast, we will gather for:
Prayer and spiritual encouragement
Fellowship with other men
Short devotional thoughts or messages
Testimonies and discussion
Time to seek God together
Water and sparkling water will be provided.

Pastoral participation and brief teachings may be included throughout the event.

IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTE
Fasting is voluntary. If you have any medical condition, take medications, are diabetic, or have other health concerns, please consult your physician before participating.

You are encouraged to participate at a level appropriate for your health and circumstances.

WHY FAST?
Throughout Scripture, fasting is a way of humbling ourselves before God, seeking His guidance, deepening our dependence on Him, and praying with renewed focus and intentionality.

This event is not about endurance or performance—it is about creating space to hear from God and drawing closer to Him together.
