Join Us for the Christmas Joy Party!
The Christmas Joy Party is our largest Missions & Outreach event, dedicated to bringing holiday cheer to local families in need. This year, the celebration will take place on Saturday, December 14, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, when we’ll welcome over 30 invited families for an afternoon filled with joy and holiday festivities.
How You Can Help
We’re collecting new tennis shoes (sizes Kindergarten–6th grade) and gift cards to bless these families.
Pick up an ornament from the decorated boxes located in the foyer or near the back doors.
Donations can be given to Anita on Sunday mornings or dropped off at the church office Monday through Thursday.

Thank you for partnering with us to spread joy and warmth to our community this holiday season!
Light of Hope
Our Benevolence Ministry is dedicated to supporting local residents in the 77546 area with rent and utility assistance. Each year, this ministry is solely funded by the generous donations made by our congregation during Advent.
Gifts made to our Light of Hope tree can be given in “honor of” or “in memory of” loved ones, with their names displayed on our Light of Hope Christmas Eve display in the foyer and printed in our Light of Hope bulletin.
Visit the Light of Hope tree in the Foyer to make your donation on any Advent Sunday - December 1, 8, 15 or 22.
December 15 is the final day to submit names for inclusion in the Christmas Eve display and bulletin, but donations are gratefully accepted throughout the Advent season.
If you’d like to make a donation to Friendswood Methodist Church, you can do so in person at our church office or on Sunday mornings or by visiting our giving page.
