Thanksgiving Baskets - Distributed on Saturday, November 12
•  Collecting Funds to purchase items for clients
(Donations can still be made to this designated fund after the event to benefit the mission next year. To do so, you can write a check made payable to "Friendswood Methodist Church" and include "Thanksgiving Baskets" in the memo line.)

Flannel Friendsgiving – all-church potluck and Operation Christmas Child packing party
•  Come Sunday, November 13 from 5 - 7PM and pack a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child
•  Collecting Funds to fund the purchase of items and cover shipping costs (Samaritan's Purse recommended donation is $10 per box). This donation can be made even after the event! To do so, you can write a check made payable to "Friendswood Methodist Church" and include "Operation Christmas Child Fund" in the memo line.

Food Pantry - Reverse Advent Calendar Food Collection
•  Collect items throughout December to distribute to families in need. Donations are collected by households from December 1 through 24. Bring these non-perishable items to the collection bins at the Christmas Eve services or Christmas Day service.

Christmas Joy Party on Saturday December 10
•  Need 100 Volunteers (9am - 2pm)
•  Need (185) $50 Walmart Gift Cards (you can purchase Walmart Gift Cards or also make a donation by clicking the button below and selecting "Christmas Joy Party" from the drop down menu).
•  Need Unwrapped Presents for Children Ages 1-18

Light of Hope Benevolence Fundraiser - Sanctuary Foyer, Every Sunday of Advent November 27, December 4, 11, 18
Friendswood Methodist Church offers a benevolence ministry for residents of 77546 who need help with Rent or Utility Bills.
•  Needed donations in honor or memory of loved ones in the amount of $10, $25, $50, $100, 
$250, $500+ are available on angel ornaments in the Sanctuary Foyer beginning November 27. 
•  Once your donation is made, hang the corresponding ornament to the amount donated and the list of in honor/in memory will be printed on a display board and bulletin printed and available for pick up during the Christmas Eve Service.
•  Our goal is $24,000
