PARTNERING WITH PARENTS

We believe that two influences combined can have a greater impact than either influence alone. Orange is a strategy that combines the influence of the parents and the church to make a greater impact on the life of a child.

 

1) The light of the church is represented by the color YELLOW 

2) The heart of the family is represented by the color RED

3) Combine the light (yellow) and the heart (red) you get ORANGE. 

 

Orange is a partnership between the family and the church!

EARLY CHILDHOOD

Children are welcome from infants through preschool age. We provide large group worship and age leveled small group time for our 2 - 4 year olds at 9:30 and 11:00 in the Nursery and Preschool wing located in the Worship Center. Children can stay for both hours. 

KIDZONE

KIDZONE

Children in Kinder - 5th grade may join us at 9:30 am and at 11:00 am for KidZONE in room F201 of the Family Life Center.

KINGDOM STUDENT MINISTRY

KINGDOM STUDENT MINISTRY

Students in grades 6-12 are a part of our Kingdom Student Ministries. Find out more about that ministry by clicking the image above.

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS

We have Bible Clubs for grades 1-5. Clubs meet Wednesdays in room F201 at 4:00, and then break out into

smaller groups until 5:30 PM. Fourth and Fifth Grade run throughout the school year. Second Grade meets in the fall and

First and Third Grade meets in the spring.

UPWARDS SPORTS

Friendswood Upward Sports is a faith-based non-profit athletics program for children.

 

Our program is currently offering the following sports: volleyball, basketball, cheerleading and soccer.

 

Upward is available for children Pre K 4 - 10th grade. Four-year-old players must be 4 by September 1st. We are happy to partner with Hope Lutheran for our basketball season.
