Light of Hope is our fundraiser for our benevolence ministry. This takes place during the Sundays of Advent. We have a Christmas Tree in the Sanctuary Foyer where individuals can come and donate funds to the ministry and hang an ornament on the tree. The following ornaments correlate with the dollar amount: Love (Heart) - $10, Joy - $25, Peace - $50, Star - $100, Angel - $250, or Dove - $500+

We have envelopes that one can fill out in order to give in honor or memory of a loved one. The list of gifts given in honor or memory of will be displayed in the Sanctuary foyer on Christmas Eve. Donations can be received through traditional giving: cash or check made out to Friendswood Methodist Church (memo line: Light of Hope) as well as online giving via credit card.
