Friendswood Methodist Church offers a benevolence ministry for residents of 77546 who need help.

We partner with the chaplains at the Houston VA in Downtown Houston and purchase large print NIV Bibles for our veterans. The Bibles are approximately $5 and each donor fills out a book plate in each front cover to encourage our men and women who have served our country to help provide freedom and security for all of us in the USA.

We partner with The Gulf Coast Blood Center to help supply the much needed “Gift of Life”.

Club One is an ecumenical ministry where members of Friendswood Methodist Church volunteer at local schools in an after school program.

Light of Hope is our fundraiser for our benevolence ministry.

We support 4 missionary couples/families here at Friendswood Methodist Church.

We partner with Samaritan’s Purse to fill shoeboxes with Christmas presents for needy children around the world. 

This school supply drive asks our congregation to give specific school supplies for distribution to Wedgewood Elementary.

Personal Care Bags are an additional gift given to our neighbors receiving food from the Pantry. 

The hands, feet and wheels of Christ. We recycle bicycles and give them to the homeless and those in need.

This is an outreach to provide a full Thanksgiving Dinner to families who need it over the holidays.

Weekend Warriors is a ministry that seeks to provide home repairs or wheel chair ramps to persons in need who may not have the ability or financial funds. This is open to men and women regardless of their skill in construction. Typically, the Weekend Warriors work in the counties surrounding Friendswood. If students are interested in attending, their parent must accompany them. If you have a neighbor or friend in need please let us know. We strive to do one service project once a month.
