New Sermon Series Begins September 6

Thu, September 3, 2020

How many of you in the past several months have thought, or said something to the effect, “this is the new normal.” Social distancing. Face masks. Hand sanitizers. Temperature checks. These have all become part of our daily life since March. Our new normal.

As a church, we too are stepping into our new normal in ministry. We are restarting many of our church ministries: Bible Studies, MOPS, Sunday Schools, Kingdom for Students, Kid’s Zone for children. I encourage you to look at the different articles that describe these in more detail. This will look different for a while. We will observe social distancing and other safety practices, even as we try to resume ministry activities.

This Sunday we are also beginning a new message series to remind us that God is with us in the disorienting, culture-shifting situations we find ourselves in, whether because of a global pandemic like COVID-19, a new life stage by choice, or a sudden change by chance.

Join us in worship, either in-person or online, as we look at four people in the Bible who each faced a new normal, and discovered in the process God’s rhythm for living out a life of faith.
