We partner with Samaritan’s Purse to fill shoe boxes with Christmas presents for needy children around the world. The gifts are a “Door Opener” to allow trained members of Samaritan’s Purse to present the Good News of Jesus Christ. This partnership allows us to participate in sharing the Gospel worldwide. Once the shoeboxes are filled, we act as a drop off center of the boxes for this area south of Houston. We package the individual boxes and take them to a distribution center that then helps in distribution
around the world.

Ways to Give:

We collect funds to Friendswood Methodist with OCC in memo in order to purchase items for the packing party.

Collect items on list located in the sanctuary foyer.

Purchase items from the OCC Amazon wish list.

It’s that time of year again!

We’re collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child from all over Galveston and Brazoria County and packing them into cartons for transport to Dallas. Last year we packed over 3,500 shoeboxes—let’s see how many God brings us this year! Come join the fun in Wesley Hall as we meet people, pray together, and enjoy food, music, laughter, and fellowship while serving as the hands and feet of Christ.
