This group is made up of senior adults—both couples and singles—who are intent on living out their faith by gaining a deeper understanding of God’s Word and supporting outreach ministries. Current Study: Beginning January 11, CIA will study The Book of Isaiah using the Epic of Eden study by Dr. Sandra Richter, exploring God’s Word to His prophet. This study is especially suited for the Epiphany season, as the Book of Isaiah has more to say about the coming Messiah than any other Old Testament book. Isaiah is often called “the Fifth Gospel.” The study will continue through the first Sunday after Easter.

THE SEEKERS: E-200 9:30 am
The seeker‘s class is a welcoming, Christ- centered community where people of all backgrounds can grow in their faith together. Each week we study God‘s word through a video series, share meaningful discussions, and encourage one another through life‘s joys and challenges. Whether you’re new to the church or have been walking with the Lord for years, you’ll find a place to belong, learn, and grow with us. Current Study: Starting January 11, The Chosen, Season 1, Join us for a Bible Study about the life of Jesus from the TV Series. What does it mean to be Chosen? parallels each episode connecting us to the Bible. Being chosen by Jesus has beautiful and far-reaching implications—although it says even more about the Chooser than the chooses. We are loved because Jesus is love. We are saved because He is merciful. We belong to the family of God because Jesus invites us, making the Bible and all its promises true for us right here and right now.
11:00 SUNDAY CLASSES
LIVING STONES: E-201/202 11 am
Singles and couples who focus on biblical and topical studies, along with Bible-based DVDs, to live out God’s Word in our real, everyday lives. Through good, honest discussion, we build one another up and support one another in prayer. Current Study: Beginning mid-January, The Life You’ve Always Wanted DVD study by John Ortberg. Join us as this six-session small group Bible study guides us through the spiritual disciplines and explores how God’s life-changing power can help us live a joyful, fulfilling life in Christ. Together, we’ll reflect on what true spiritual life looks like, what holds us back from living it fully, and how we can intentionally pursue it.
BACKSTAGE: M-105 in Music Center 11 am
Join some of the 9:30 Contemporary Worship Team members PLUS other couples and singles that like to study biblical texts and topics so we can learn to live out Jesus' example in real life. We also love to pray and support one another. Studies are often DVD-based topical studies and other Bible-based resources. Current Study: We will be doing “stand-alone” Bible studies January 11, 18, & February 1. Come join us! Upcoming Study: Starting February 8, we will be doing the Bible-based video series called The Familiar Stranger by Tyler Staton, which introduces the Holy Spirit to those in search of an experiential spirituality. For a generation searching desperately for an experiential spirituality, there's good news: the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence to empower and transform is freely available. Unfortunately, confusion and unfamiliarity surround the Person of the Holy Spirit, leading too many Christians either to sideline Him or misunderstand what He means for their spiritual lives. Tyler Staton reintroduces this oft-neglected Person of the Trinity, tracing the story of the Holy Spirit as it unfolds throughout the Bible and inviting believers to close the gap between what Scripture reveals about the Holy Spirit and their lived experience.
NEW! Talking with God: E-200 11 am (STARTS FEB. 8)
For many, prayer feels like a struggle. Maybe you’ve thought, “I’m not as good at praying as others,” or you hesitated to speak out loud. But God isn’t grading our words – He’s searching our hearts. “The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth” (Psalm 145: 18). True prayer begins not with eloquence but with humility, vulnerability, and trust. Prayer is more than personal conversation with God – it’s a lifeline, a legacy, and a weapon of faith. Through prayer, we leave behind seeds of faith that strengthen families, build communities, and push back the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). In this class, we’ll walk through the how, the when, the why, and the value of prayer, rooting our time in Scripture and real practice. Jesus Himself reminds, “When you pray…your Father who sees in secret will reward you." Matthew 6:6 This isn’t just a study; it’s an invitation. An invitation to bring your true self before God, to lay down fear, and to rise in faith. Join us as we learn to pray with authenticity, expectation, and boldness – trusting that God moves when His people pray.

NEW! Praying with Christ: E-204 11 am (STARTS FEB. 1)
Join us for a wonderful six-week DVD Bible study called Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools by Tyler Staton, beginning February 1. Prayer is an incredible gift, and it has incredible power. But for most of us, there is an equally incredible gap between our own experiences of prayer and Jesus’ promises about it. Why is that? What are our roadblocks to praying as Jesus did? How can we discover the power of prayer in our own lives? In this Bible study, you’ll embark on a journey that leads from receiving Christ’s intercession to interceding with Christ. Staton unpacks the Lord’s Prayer into four core practices—adoration, confession, petition, and intercession. It all begins with the profound realization that Jesus is interceding for us, by name, right now.
