So What's the Difference?  Using several different resources, we will compare the core beliefs of Biblical Christianity to some specific Christian denominations and faiths, and also to some non-Christian religions.  The goal is to raise understanding of what others around us believe and how it is the same or different than our beliefs.  Then we can be better prepared to engage in a spiritual conversation with some understanding of where they may be coming from.

FIRM FOUNDATION

*Will resume September 10, 2023*

Sunday mornings at 11:00 in room A-124 in the Administration Building.

If we as parents do not teach our children to have a firm foundation in Christ then the world will teach them. The purpose of the class is to come together and connect what our students are learning in Kingdom Student Ministries with what the Lord wants us to teach them at home. This class will provide knowledge, wisdom and support to help you strengthen the foundation you and your family have in Christ. Join us in a casual setting as we use scripture as the basis to learn and grow into the parents we are called to be.

Current discussion:

Casual conversational discussion currently focusing on community and the importance of relationships and the value of Christian community using scripture and real world life examples.

GRACE + TRUTH

Sunday mornings at 11:00 in room E-208/209 (upstairs in the Education Bldg. near kidZone)

God calls us to be more and more like Him - full of grace & truth.  As parents and Christians, we struggle more and more with the balance between these two core principles of Christian faith.  In this class, we will dig in to the truth that God reveals through the bible and the need for grace in our lives and the lives of those around us.  We will find and explore the differences between God’s truth and the world’s truth.

This class is for parents of infants through 5th grade and older. No preparation needed, just come with an open and willing heart to let God speak His truth and reveal His grace.  (Starting Promotion Sunday,
June 9th, kidZone will run a second hour at 11:00 for children in grades K-5.)
